  • The Anixter Foundation for Adults with Disabilities (Highland Park, IL)

  • Tokey Hill Martial Arts Disabled Karate Program (Roslyn, New York)

  • US Paralympics

  • North Shore Dojo Disabled Karate Program (Glenview, IL)

  • Scholarships for individuals with disabilities who take part in sanctioned programs

  • US Disabled Karate Team

ENCOURAGING 

COMPETITION

 

We support the recruitment and training of a US National Disabled Karate Team that will compete in the World Karate Federation Championships, and beyond, bi-yearly.  This year, we had three KCD athletes from different regions of the country attend the World Championships. 

TEACHING LIFE SKILLS THROUGH KARATE

 

Karate CAN-DO! athletes improve in the following areas:​

  • Balance, coordination, flexibility and muscle tone
